Leather Colors Unique to Our Brand

Our glovetan leather color came from an old baseball glove and reminded us of the quintessential baseball glove leather. It’s a nod to having a catch with your dad in the back yard, but also screams of elegance and class because of the shine of the calfskin leather.

Our Cordovan leather is a color that founder Douglas Rose discovered while traveling in Rome on business. The tannery was able to match this color flawlessly. It’s a beautiful and rich brown that has an undertone of burgundy that shows through most in natural lighting. 

We have a Navy leather color coming soon that is sure to catch your eye. It has a similar story as the cordovan, in that Douglas Rose discovered it during some of his travels and fell in love with it. Navy happens to be his favorite color, which may or may not tie to his roots in NYC and a certain baseball team there. 

Our black leather color, well, doesn’t have that sexy of a story if we’re being honest. In the bag world, black leather is classy, professional, beautiful and goes with everything. When we were first exploring using the calfskin leather we currently use, we asked for a sample of it in black. There was a richness and shine to the way this particular article was finished that made the black pop. Its no wonder it’s our most popular color.
