A few months ago Sugarloaf Social Club reached out with a simple, yet lofty, question: What would it take to make the finest set of golf thank you luxury stationery? 

Never ones to do things the easy way, our two parties settled on Crane’s LETTRA #110 in Ecru White, an extremely sturdy and luxurious affair. This is the same 200+ year old paper company trusted by Paul Revere, Franklin Roosevelt and The Queen. Pretty serious stuff. 

On the bottom right of each 4.5″x6.25″ card you will see Play or Perish wrapped by an arrowed ‘S’ all inlayed with gold foil. 

Sugarloaf – a unique golf society with a passion for architecture, history and camaraderie – derived their club maxim from a chapter in Robert Hunter’s seminal text “The Links” that stated: 

It seemed trivial if not idiotic; but one inoculated with the virus must swing a golf-club or perish.
